At Bisuala, we're thrilled to share our recent collaboration in the development of Matchday Champions, an innovative mobile football game. Featuring the prestigious FIFPro license, the game includes real-life footballers and has been financially backed by football legends like Lionel Messi and Alexia Putellas.
Matchday Champions brings the excitement and authenticity of football to mobile devices, merging the thrill of the sport with the strategy of a trading card game. Players build their dream team using real player cards and compete against others from around the globe. Designed to appeal to casual players, the gameplay is accessible yet engaging, making it possible to enjoy football anytime, anywhere.
In this project, Bisuala played a pivotal role as a motion design partner. Our team was responsible for defining and implementing the motion design language across the game’s design system. Using Unity as the game engine, we ensured seamless visual integration and delivered a captivating user experience.
To bring this vision to life, we assembled a dedicated team of four experts—two motion designers and two technical artists—who contributed to the creation of fluid, dynamic animations. Our involvement helped elevate the game’s visual quality and interactivity, demonstrating the critical role motion design plays in creating a standout user experience.
