Bringing FC 24’s UI alive: interface animations for the industry-leading football franchise.

We collaborated on animating various UIs for the iconic franchise during the year of its rebirth as the FC brand, marking the end of over 30 years under the FIFA license.
The new brand identity was inspired by the triangles that have been part of EA SPORTS football for the past 30 years—from the isometric polygons that make up their game to the chemistry triangles that exist in Ultimate Team™ to the player indicator across every match.
We employed motion design principles to enhance an already beautiful user experience. Whether reinforcing interactions or providing delightful rewards, we had a blast collaborating with EA’s team.
Our approach was holistic: we defined behaviors for various cross-experience UI elements, including big tiles, small tiles, language menus, purchase confirmations, and more.
