The Challenge

Ignion, an antenna manufacturer based in Barcelona, develops cutting-edge connectivity technology for the IoT industry. As their marketing ambitions grew, so did the need for a stronger and more scalable content engine.

While they were already producing explainer and product videos, the output lacked a unified motion language and a structured system to support long-term growth. Content was being created, but not within a cohesive framework that ensured consistency, efficiency, and brand impact.

Ignion didn’t just need more videos. They needed:

  • A clear motion identity aligned with their brand

  • Practical guidelines their internal team could follow

  • A reusable motion toolkit to increase production cadence

  • A scalable system that would support new formats in 2026 and beyond

Their goal was to move from isolated pieces of content to a structured motion ecosystem — one that would empower their team to produce faster, with clarity and consistency, while elevating the overall perception of the brand.

The Solution

We partnered with Ignion to design a scalable motion system, not just a collection of animations.

1. Strategic Discovery

We started by interviewing key members of the Ignion team to understand how they define their brand, where their current content workflow was falling short, and what level of production they wanted to reach in 2026.

This phase helped us connect motion design to real operational needs, rather than treating it as a purely aesthetic layer.

In parallel, we conducted competitive research within the technology and semiconductor space. We analyzed how similar companies communicate through motion, identifying both conventions and opportunities for differentiation.

This ensured Ignion would feel credible within their industry while developing a distinct visual behavior.

2. Defining the Motion Identity

Based on these insights, we established three core motion principles to guide how Ignion moves on screen.

These principles translated into concrete rules for animation curves, timing, directionality, and rhythm. We defined how the logo behaves, how typography enters and exits, how transitions connect scenes, and what should be avoided to preserve clarity and consistency.

All of this was consolidated into an extended Motion Design Guidelines document. It serves as both a creative compass and a technical reference, enabling long-term consistency across teams and formats.

3. Building the Toolkit

A system only works if it can be applied easily.

After defining the motion language, we developed practical templates for the Ignion team. These included modular intro and outro structures, lower thirds, transition systems, and reusable animation assets.

The templates were built for fast turnaround workflows. The goal was autonomy. Ignion’s team can now produce content efficiently while maintaining brand coherence and visual quality.
